Hey, I’m Connor! I come from working in the photography and design industry for the past eight years, with a wide range of skills in web and graphic design, to writing, illustration and of course, photography & video. 

A forward-thinking visual creator, I love to produce work that is sharp, bright and eye-catching, whether it's through a camera lens or digital pencil. I’ve worked with a number of clients across Perth and Australia, and I’m driven by two things: Good People and Good Food.

People driven by their passion inspire me to create my best work and I love to hear their stories. Why do you do it, why do you love it and every little detail in between. I want to know what lights you up inside and I want that to show in my work.

And as you can see, my whole work revolves around food - so of course, it’s gotta be good - if not, GREAT!

A dad of 3 boys, when I get a spare second, you can find me volunteering at the community ambulance depot, down the beach swimming in my undies or dreaming of the next pizza I’m going to eat (or very possibly eating said pizza).

  • I’ve worked in the creative industry a long time, and was always shooting personal projects. More and more, they led to be food and cooking orientated - eventually exclusively. It was then I realised I needed to rebrand and solely focus on this passion.

    If I was going to give so much time and energy to something, I wanted it to be what lights me up inside. Thus, Mouthful Studios was born and I’ve been hungry for it ever since.

  • Tough question! But there are a couple that come to mind I’m particularly proud of.

    The first is my ongoing work with Buy West Eat Best being used in a pull-out magazine in The West Australian newspaper last year. It was so cool seeing my recipes and photos in print!

    The second was working with my friend Melanie Persson on her debut cookbook ‘The Very Hungry Coeliac’. We had a super fun day shooting and again, seeing my work in print and on shelves in stores was so cool!

  • I’d love to be swept down a drain, somehow end up in Paris and start working in a restaurant whilst hiding inside the hat of a chef who does my bidding… wait sorry, that’s the plotline to a movie I think.

    Dream project for real though? Writing and cooking and shooting and designing and creating my own cookbook. Doing all the things for it - working out all the little details. Reworking recipes over and over until they SING. Creating something that feels like a hug and a giggle in printed form, something people love and scrawl notes in and tab pages.
